Aleta Wilson
Psychotherapist (BSW, RSW)
Aleta Wilson is a Registered Social Worker with 7 years of clinical experience offering psychotherapy to intelligent, capable women navigating meaningful change. Her approach is trauma-informed, draws on attachment-based and relational frameworks and incorporates Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Somatic Experiencing (completing Intermediate level of SEP 3-year certification).
Aleta helps high-functioning, self-aware women who are quietly carrying more than anyone around them realizes get to the root of their concerns, understand what's keeping them stuck, and create lasting growth and change.
Her path into therapy was shaped by years of service as a birth doula where she witnessed the emotional and psychological weight of pregnancy, birth, and motherhood. That foundation, combined with her Childbirth Education Training and Advanced Perinatal Mental Health Psychotherapy Training (PSI), informs her perinatal focus: supporting mothers through prenatal and postpartum anxiety and depression, trauma-informed birth planning, medical advocacy, and labour trauma.
